It has long been said that each member of a 14 thousand strong audience are able to hear a pin drop or a match strike whilst watching performances at the 4th Century auditorium at Epidaurus. Perhaps a tenuous claim, but the unique sound qualities have often been the subject of study by global acoustic experts and a marvel experienced by each and every visitor to the ancient site in the Peloponnese.
