Major change in Kalamata Autumn flight schedule
Several major new flights have been approved for the airport schedule at Kalamata International airport this Autumn, with daily arrivals and departures to top destinations such as London, Paris, Frankfurt, Zurich, Vienna, Tel Aviv, Munich, but also Greek destinations such as Athens, Thessaloniki and Heraklion, as the airport continues to enhance connectivity for the area.
The presence of large international companies – Aegean, British Airways, EasyJet, Ryanair, Condor, Transavia, Edelweiss, Austrian, Jet2, Eurowings etc. – highlights the the growing importance of Kalamata as a tourist and economic hub, contributing to the further development of the Peloponnese, as long as start the upgrade works of the airport, through the concession that has been done.
The follwoing flights will operate daily in September and October
Monday:
Transavia to Amsterdam, Aegean Airlines to Thessaloniki, British Airways to London (Heathrow), Condor to Frankfurt and Ryanair to Bergamo will operate flights.
Tuesday:
EasyJet will connect Kalamata with London (Gatwick) and Manchester, Transavia France with Paris (Orly), Edelweiss with Zurich, Austrian Airlines with Vienna, while Aegean Airlines will operate flights to Thessaloniki and Athens.
Wednesday:
Aegean Airlines flights to Athens and Heraklion, Israir to Tel Aviv, Transavia to Amsterdam, Eurowings to Dusseldorf, Jet2 to Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol and London (Stansted), Ryanair also to London (Stansted), as well as Sunclass Airlines to Malmö, Sweden.
Thursday:
Aegean Airlines will serve Thessaloniki and Athens, Transavia France to Paris (Orly), EasyJet to London (Gatwick), Bukovina to Innsbruck, Ryanair to Bergamo, Discover to Munich, British Airways to London (Heathrow), while Buzz will fly to Katowice.
Friday:
Aegean Airlines flights to Athens and Thessaloniki, Condor to Frankfurt, British Airways to London (Heathrow), Israir to Tel Aviv and Edelweiss to Zurich.
Saturday:
Smartwings will fly to Prague, Sunclass Airlines to Oslo and Bilud, Aegean Airlines will connect Kalamata with Athens-Copenhagen, Heraklion, Copenhagen-Stockholm and Thessaloniki, Transavia with Amsterdam, EasyJet with London (Gatwick) and Manchester, Scandinavian Airlines with Oslo, Ryanair/Austrian with Vienna, Transavia France with Paris (Orly), Eurowings with Dusseldorf, Edelweiss with Zurich, Discover with Munich, British Airways with London (Heathrow) and Aegean Airlines with Stockholm (Arlanda) and Athens.
Sunday:
Aegean Airlines will operate flights to Athens, Athens–Munich, Munich–Athens, Munich–Helsinki, Helsinki–Athens and Thessaloniki. Bukovina will connect Kalamata with Innsbruck, Jet2 with Manchester, Birmingham and London (Stansted), Transavia France with Paris (Orly), British Airways with London (Heathrow), Austrian Airlines with Vienna, Discover with Frankfurt and Arkia with Tel Aviv.
The flights do not all continue until the end of October – check individual airline schedules for confirmation.
