Specifically approved by the Ministry of Environment and Energy and Minister Stavros Papastavrou the funding of 694,400 euros for the supply, transport, installation and commissioning of a portable prefabricated container Brackish water desalination plant with a minimum capacity of 1,000 cubic meters per day, for the water supply of the Municipal Unit of Lefktro of the Municipality of West Mani.

The project in West Mani comes as a continuation of the first desalination plant installed at the location “Mesa Dolos” of the Community of Agios Nikolaos, with a budget of 496,000 euros, which was implemented with the cooperation of the Region of Peloponnese and the Municipality of West Mani, in the framework of the Regional Development Program (PPP).

  1. Does that sound good? If it is the same company hat provided the first plant above AgNik, I foresee nothing good: That plant has been operational for few weeks only since inauguration and is nothing short of a catastrophe. No solution for anything.
