Director Themis Moumoulidis returns for the third time to Antigone, the supreme theatrical tragedy of Sophocles, and to one of the most fascinating heroines in the history of Western drama.

Alongside him is a cast of excellent actors, with Lena Papaligoura in the role of Antigone and Meletis Iliadis in the role of Creon.

The war is over. The dead are being collected under the harsh light of the spotlights. The battlefield is transferred to the polished offices of modern decision-making centers. The harsh, amplified sound of today and the fragile breath of a living voice, the unwrinkled costumes and rags, the mechanized and desecrated bodies compose a world where conflicts sharpen and contrasts deepen.
