On Saturday, April 25 , as the 24th Kalamata Road Race brings thousands of runners of all ages to the streets . With the sea as a backdrop and one of the fastest urban routes in the country, Kalamata is transformed into a large athletic field of action and participation. From experienced athletes to young runners and families, everyone has a place at the start, sending a resounding message of unity and contribution .

The Race is dedicated to the Special Kindergarten & Special Schools. With the motto for another year, “Run and walk the fastest route, in the race of our city” , athletes, as well as those who seek well-being, starting from the Central Square – Vas. Georgiou, can choose the following alternative sports opportunities:
SPECIAL OLYMPICS Race 1 km. time 18:10. 10 km. Road Race, time 18:30 Dynamic Walking, 10 km. time 18:30 Race for children and parents, 1.5 km. time 18:35.

AIMS Certified Course The certification was carried out in accordance with the current regulations of World Athletics. The performances of the Runners will be official, internationally recognized, and any record achieved will be recognized. The route next to the beach is asphalt and flat, fast, without elevation differences and with a starting point at the Central Square, a turn at the end of the beach (Filoxenia Hotel), finishing at the Central Square.
