July 12th saw a very grand Grand Opening of the local Mani Brewery. Anyone living in Neochori will have witnessed the refurbishment of the old olive oil warehouse. And it has become a common sight to see beer lovers having a pint in the shady beer garden. But last night was something else- the garden was packed by 6pm as locals enjoyed free beer and food with a DJ providing a musical backdrop. The brewery itslef was open for people to marvel at the enormous vats and the bar was open to taste one of their 6 brews. A really well organised event that must have gone on well into the night. Bravo….

And since the event, the number of people stopping by only seems to have increased to enjoy the local brews and interesting mezes.
