DESCRIPTION:A FEW WORDS ABOUT THE “KALAMATA MOUNTAIN RUN” \nWith the aim of highlighting and promoting the natural and cultural environment of the region\, the Kalamata Mountaineering Association is organizing the second mountain running race “Kalamata Mountain Run” on Sunday\, September 7\, 2025\, on Mount Kalathi\, at the foot of Mount Taygetos. The “Kalamata Mountain Run” connects the sea with the mountain and Kalamata with Mount Taygetos. The venue is Mount Kalathi (1\,340m) located next to Kalamata and which starts from the sea in the west and joins Taygetos in the east.
